Solmar Golf Links
Links golf carved through the Baja dunes.
The Course
Solmar Golf Links is unlike anything else in Los Cabos. Greg Norman channeled the great links courses of Scotland and Ireland into the raw desert landscape of Baja California, creating a course that plays through towering sand dunes, cactus forests, and wind-swept arroyos. The layout demands shot-making creativity over brute force — bump-and-run approaches, links-style bounce, and the ever-present Baja wind make every round a unique puzzle. The signature island green is one of the most talked-about finishing holes in the region.

What Makes It Legendary
Signature Features
True Links DNA
Greg Norman drew from his experience playing the great links courses of the British Isles to create a layout that rewards ground-game creativity over pure power.
The Island Green
The course's iconic island green is completely surrounded by desert sand — one of the most dramatic and unforgiving finishing holes in all of Los Cabos golf.
Towering Dune Corridors
Massive natural dunes — some reaching 40 feet — frame the fairways and create a genuine sense of isolation and adventure not found on traditional resort courses.
Baja Wind Factor
The exposed links layout means the Baja Pacific winds are always a factor — adding a variable that demands course management and club selection rarely tested elsewhere in the region.
