From market-fresh ceviche stands to rooftop tasting menus, these are the tables worth booking in Cabo San Lucas.
The State of Cabo's Restaurant Scene
Cabo San Lucas has always had good food — but the last three years have produced something closer to great. A new wave of Baja Med chefs, direct relationships with local fishermen, and the arrival of serious sommeliers have transformed the marina strip and its surroundings.
La Marea Fish House ★★★★★
The dock-to-table concept is overused, but La Marea earns it. The boats come in before dawn; the kitchen crew meets them. Your miso-glazed marlin may have been swimming when you arrived at the airport. Reserve three to four weeks ahead during high season.
Edith's Restaurant
The oldest beloved classic on the Cabo scene. Still turning out perfect carne asada over mesquite fire and a Caesar salad tableside that other restaurants keep trying to replicate. The flambéed crêpes at the end remain the move.
Baja Brewing Company
The only craft brewery in Cabo, and they've been doing it right since 2007. The Cabotella is the flagship — a light lager built for beach weather. The kitchen's fish tacos are genuinely exceptional.
The Marina Taco Circuit
Starting at 11pm, the best tacos in Cabo emerge from carts along the marina. No signage, no menus, no seats. Follow the crowd and the smell of charring beef. This is mandatory.
